Privacy information
This page describes the data features present in the Cinemovie application. External services have their own privacy practices.
Browser storage
Cinemovie stores your watchlist, viewing progress, selected playback provider, cached catalogue responses and a country code in browser storage. You can remove this data through your browser site-data settings; doing so also removes saved preferences and lists.
Live presence
When the presence service is configured, the application opens a WebSocket and reports a country code and the title selected for playback. The service aggregates connected viewers for the project dashboard. Country detection may contact external IP geolocation services. Hosting and network services also receive normal request information such as your IP address.
External services
Catalogue requests and artwork use TMDB. Trailers use YouTube, playback uses external embed providers, and advertising scripts can load third-party content. These services receive request information and may use their own cookies or storage. Consult each service for its data practices.
